What is Qlic?

Qlic is a mobile medication management platform which helps you manage and take your medication on time.

How does privacy work?

The personal information you provide us with as a user of the application is governed by our Privacy Policy which you can read on our webpage www.qlicmed.com/privacy. We will update our policies and practices from time to time at our sole discretion. QLIC is GDRP compliant and we use technical, contractual and administrative measures to protect against unauthorised access.

What happens when I create an account?

When you create an account, your data is automatically backed up on our secured servers. This allows you to log in to your account and restore your data should you move to a new device or need to reinstall the application

What can I reset my password?

In order to reset your password, please follow these steps:

  1. Tap on ‘Settings’
  2. Choose ‘Account & Security’
  3. Tap on ‘Change Password’
  4. Enter your current password followed by your new chosen password.
  5. Confirm your new password and tap ‘Set Password’
Can I use Qlic on two devices at the same time? 

You can only use Qlic on one device at a time.

How do I move my Qlic account to my new device?

Download the Qlic app on your new device and login into your Qlic account.

How do I pair and/or sync the app with my QLIC band?

In order to pair and/or sync the devices, please make sure they are in close proximity of each other. As in the case of contactless payments, you may need to bring the devices within no less than 2 cm of each other in order for the NFC data protocol to work. Please bring the devices together as illustrated below.

I did not get an alarm sound on my iPhone

Please check the following settings on your phone:

  1. Go to iPhone settings
  2. Tap on ‘Notifications’
  3. Tap on Qlic
  4. Check that the ‘Sound’ toggle is turned on
  5. Check your mute button is not selected on the side of your device

If all settings are correct, force reboot your device and you should get your notification sound
If the problem persists, please contact us through the ‘Contact form’ option found in Settings in the app.

I did not receive a notification on my iPhone
  1. Go to iPhone settings
  2. Tap on ‘Notifications’
  3. Tap on Qlic
  4. Check that the ‘Allow Notifications’ toggle is turned on

If all settings are correct, force reboot your device and you should get your notifications
If the problem persists, please contact us through the ‘Contact form’ option found in Settings in the app.

How do I add a medication?

Once you have created an account, you will be prompted to add your first medication. You can also chose to do this later by tapping on Meds

in the bottom menu and tapping the the button

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SYNC YOUR DEVICES EVERY TIME YOU ADD OR REMOVE A MEDICATION IN YOUR APP. 

How do I edit a medication?

In order to remove a medication form your list, please follow these steps:

  1. Tap on ‘Meds’ in the bottom menu
  1. Find the medication on ‘List of all medications’
  2. Please ensure that you chose the medication assigned to the correct time range in which you have been or are planning to take it
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap ‘Remove’

Please do not remove medications from your list unless you are completely convinced. Removing a medication will also delete its history and all data associated with it.

Can I schedule half a dose?

When you add a medication, tap on ‘Dose’ under the ‘Taking the medication’ option. You can type 0.5, 0.3 and 0.4 to indicate doses smaller than 1.

I forgot to click on my wristband but took my medication anyway. Can I change its status in the app from Not take to Taken?

Yes you can change the status of any medication by tapping ‘Cabinet’ in the bottom menu and swiping left or right on each medication scheduled for Today to mark it as not taken or taken.

What happens if I miss a dose?

You will receive a prompt alarm (vibration and flashing LED) on your QLIC band as well as a notification on the screen on your mobile device. If you do not confirm on your band or in the app that you have taken the medication on time, you will receive a second prompt alarm after 15 minutes. If you have taken your medication and would like to change its status from NOT TAKEN to TAKEN, you may do so in the Qlic app. To change the status of any chosen medication, please follow the these steps:

  1. Log into the app
  2. Choose ‘Cabinet” in the bottom menu
  3. Find the medication you would like edit and swipe right to mark as taken 
  4. You can also mark the medication as not taken by swiping left

If you have missed a dose, you will be able to check the status of your medications in ‘Cabinet’ as well as in the ‘History’ tab for each medication.

Can Qlic be used for vitamins and supplements?

Qlic is perfect for vitamins’ and supplements as well as medication. Maximum benefits can be achieved with a consistent daily regiment.

What are the different ways in which my QLIC band vibrates and the LED flashes?

Your QLIC band will vibrate twice and the LED will flash RED once for every alarm and snooze you receive.

Your QLIC band will flash RED-GREEN-RED when it is paired with another device and during data sync.

The LED may flash for other system functions.

How can I check the battery life of my QLIC band?

Please go to the ‘Settings’ tab in the bottom menu of the app and choose ‘My QLIC band’. You will find the information on the serial number, battery level and last sync timing. Please make sure you request a new band from your healthcare provider when the battery level is down to 20%.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, we have a 30-day warranty. You can return your QLIC band to the healthcare provider you received it from and you will be issued a new band. E-mail us at support@qlicmed.com for more information.
